ABOUT LACINIA BRIDAL

Founder and designer, Emily Kim is a Korean-born, Canada-raised designer with a background that spans New York, London, and Seoul.

After graduating from Parsons The New School for Design and studying textile design at Central Saint Martins, she spent over a decade immersed in the fashion world — working with brands like Oscar de la Renta Bridal, RTW Jason Wu, RTW Mary Katrantzou, and helping launch Lululemon’s sister brand, Kit and Ace and other small brands alike.

Her transition into bridal was quiet but intentional in faith — sparked by close friends turning to her for honest advice on what to wear on their wedding day. This instinct grew into Lacinia Bridal: a line of gowns built around faith, ease, form, and discernment.

Rooted in a fabric-first approach, Lacinia Bridal designs are with restraint and nuance. Clean silhouettes, eccentric but controlled details and a kind of effortlessness that doesn’t chase trends. Her pieces are designed to feel lived-in and unforgettable—comfortable, ethereal, and deeply considered.

Lacinia Bridal is faithfully made for the discerning bride who favours meaning over noise, essence over trend. A quiet statement — selective, intentional, and ever-lasting.
